Test Runs in Vansah Test Management

A Test Run in Vansah refers to a Test Case execution, used to validate a specific version  or system under test in a particular environment.

Each Test Run serves as a record of the results of running a Test Case against a requirement (Jira Issue or Test Folder/Cycle) at a specific moment in time within the context of a Test Execution.

Below we will demonstrate how to view Test Runs:

From Jira Issue Screen:

1.Open a Jira Issue

2. Go to Vansah Test Management

3. Hover over a Test Case

If the Test Case has been executed you will see a number appear to indicate the number of Test Runs available. Click on this number to display the available Test Runs for the Test Case.

 

From Vansah Test Folder/Cycle:

1.Open Jira 

2.Click on Vansah Test Management

3.Open your Test Folder/Cycle

4.Find the Test Case

If the Test Case has been executed you will see a number appear to indicate the number of Test Runs available. Click on this number to display the available Test Runs for the Test Case.

 

From Vansah Test Runs Tab:

1.Open Jira 

2.Click on Vansah Test Management

3.Click on Test Runs Tab (If the tab isn’t visible you will need to display it from the Tab Selection)

4.Find the Test Run
