Jira permissions for Vansah Test Management

Jira has a flexible security system that allows you to configure who can access Jira, and what they can do/see within Jira.

It’s important to ensure that users have the appropriate Jira permissions to carry out their roles effectively in Vansah Test Management. Here are some common functions in Vansah Test Management for Jira along with the corresponding Jira permissions required for project users.

Note: Vansah has announced plans to release a new feature in December 2023 that will support custom permissions. With this update, a Jira Admin will have the ability to specify the project permissions for each Vansah Function. This means that administrators will have more control over the specific actions and capabilities that users have within their projects. This will enhance the flexibility and customization options available to Jira Vansah users, allowing them to tailor the permissions to suit their specific needs and requirements.
